Spectroscopy@IKU Era Chair Project Official Kick-Off Meeting

The official kick-off meeting of the Spectroscopy@IKU ERA-Chair Project, supported by the European Union under the Horizon Europe WIDERA ERA-Chairs Program, was held at IKU on 22 May 2026. The meeting presented the project’s objectives, research and capacity-building activities, international collaborations and longterm vision for establishing a sustainable Center of Excellence in spectroscopy in Türkiye.

The ERA Chair program is a prestigious EU funding mechanism designed to strengthen research capacity across Europe. It brings internationally recognized scientists together with universities with high research potential, supporting their progress towards scientific excellence, internationalization and sustainable research capacity.
